Books are Heavy

On Friday night we had a surprise for the in-laws! For Christmas we gave them tickets to a Hitmen game at the dome. They were very happy and excited to attend! However what we did not tell them is that we also had tickets to the game. So we waited until the game was almost starting then grabbed our seats right beside them!

The game was a major blowout for the Hitmen of 9 to 2. Although, the highlight of the game (for us) was Dad taking a puck in the shoulder. Luckily he was alright and just caught a little off guard. But.. It's really made it like the full hockey experience for them :)

We also attended the Motorcycle show at the Round Up Center. There were a tonne of bike and clothing, including both stock and custom machines. What I learned again was that I am very happy with my bike and do not wish for anything different! We tried a few bikes our for the wife, but they still don't make many for short girls...

We also started to clean the house for our up coming move. We took about eight bags of used clothes to Sally Anne. And also took a huge amount of books to the used book store. I'm really glad about doing this as getting this started now, means it will be a less painful process later.. Oh and book are heavy.

  • Hey, I know all about the books thing. Because we were doing Christmas in B.C. we decided that everyone had to buy small things like books or DVDs - nothing bulky for the plane. Well, we must've brought back 75 lbs. of books with us!
